Our Mission
Archmere Academy is a Catholic, Norbertine college preparatory school, valuing community, respect, 热情, reverence, and wisdom. Nurturing body and soul, mind and heart, Archmere focuses on the whole person through academic excellence, faith reflection, social development, and service to others. Inspired by its heritage, Archmere cultivates empathetic leaders- young men and women prepared for every good work.

Since opening its doors in 1932, Archmere Academy is known for its rigorous academic program. The academic disciplines foster critical thinking skills, strengthen analytical reasoning, and foster intellectual creativity through each department. Parents and caregivers choose Archmere for their children because choosing our door opens others. Students choose Archmere because of the opportunities available to them.

With 1:58 left on the clock, junior Ryan Hagenberg scored on a 1-yard run to give Archmere a 27-21 win at Saint Mark’s in one of the top games in Delaware high school football on Friday night. Archmere Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

The officials of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation used their high scores on the PSAT's, taken in their junior year, as an initial screen for program entrants. Only 16,000 students (of approximately 1.3 million) in about 21,000 high schools entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), which served as an initial screen of program entrants. -
